Preamble
For God and Country, We associate ourselves together for the following purposes: To demonstrate the principles of responsible motorcycling as set forth in the American Legion Riders' response. "We, your American Legion Riders, ride for God and Country, the American Legion family, and allied veterans everywhere, protect those that protect us, Amen." To serve as examples of responsible American patriotism. To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. To serve our comrades as set forth in the preamble to the Constitution of the American Legion.
Requirements to become an ALR Member:
1) Must be a current member of the American Legion, Auxiliary or SAL,
2) Must be the owner (or spouse) of a registered motorcycle with 350 cc or larger,
3) Must possess a current motorcycle license or permit
(permit not valid for longer than 1 year)
4) Must possess current motorcycle insurance
5) Dues - $10 per year/ payable after renewing Legion, Auxiliary or SAL Membership
