Missing in America Project
In 2007 the American Legion, representing 27 million US Veterans, formally endorsed Missing In American Project in Resolution 24 during it’s 2007 National Convention.
Founded in 2007;
Missing in America’s mission statement is to locate, identify and intern the unclaimed cremated remains of Veterans through joint efforts of; Private, State and Federal organizations. To provide Honor and Respect to those who have Honorably served this Country and securing a place in a National Veteran’s Cemetery.
